Hello & Welcome,
Hi, I’m Marni, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here! As a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and EMDR therapist, I’m deeply passionate about supporting mental health and promoting the power of self-care and compassion. With over 16 years of experience working in both the NHS and private sector, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless individuals take the steps toward healing and growth.
My mission is to be part of the movement that makes mental health a priority—where therapy is seen as a powerful, normal, and accessible tool for everyone. I’m excited to now offer private therapy sessions, tailored to help you find the support and tools you need to thrive. Whether you're navigating a difficult moment or looking to build a stronger mental foundation, I’m here to help you on that journey.

Once you have submitted an email or contact form, I will be in touch via email. Then, if you’d like we will schedule 10 to 15-minute phone consultation to ensure we are able to work together. From there, we will arrange an assessment session where I assess your difficulties, strengths, discuss the areas you would like to work on and identify key goals. Using the information you provide I will implement evidence-based strategies to help you work towards your unique goals.

The number of sessions will very much depend on how you feel and your progress. Typically when using CBT we may have between 12-16 sessions. When using EMDR this is between 16-20. We will discuss this together and see what works for you and where you feel you are in the therapy process.

Appointments can be cancelled without incurring a fee if you notify me at least 48 hours before your session. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full, except in the case of medical emergencies.

Absolutely. When you meet the right therapist, research has shown that talk therapy can be immensely helpful in reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Furthermore it can help you to understand and build a healthy relationship with yourself and the world around you. Some studies have found that therapy can be more beneficial in treating mental health issues than medication alone.
